  • What is a Bernese Mountain Dog?

Originally from Switzerland, Bernese Mountain Dogs can be traced back to the Roman invasion over 2,000 years ago. Large in size with a black, tan and white silky coat, they were initially kept as farm dogs to herd sheep and cattle and according to the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain, many still enjoy pulling light carts.
