Nothing beats a sweet, refreshing, ice-cold treat during the summer months. We think both you and your pooch will love this dog-friendly recipe. It's super simple to make, with just 3 ingredients and minimal effort required and our taste testers here at BorrowMyDoggy HQ have given the paws up!

  • 1 small mango
  • 1 small watermelon
  • 1 pot of greek yoghurt*

  1. Wash the mango and watermelon, remove the skin and chop into small pieces.
  2. De-seed the watermelon.
  3. Place into a blender and blend until you have a puree consistency.
  4. Combine with the yoghurt.
  5. Pour the mixture into your ice mould and place in the freezer for 3 - 5 hours.
  6. Pop out of the mould to serve.

These ice pups can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months. Remember to only offer your dog treats in moderation.

*Make sure your yoghurt doesn’t contain any sweeteners or flavourings that could be harmful for your dog. Also, if your dog cannot tolerate dairy, coconut yoghurt is a great alternative to opt for.
