How about elevating your night in by taking your cosy evening away from home? Whether you are borrowing a dog for a weekend or fancy taking a trip with your own dog, there are lots of dog-friendly cottages across the country to visit. Find a cosy one and enjoy the company of your four-legged friend.

6) Matching accessories

Get cute Instagram pictures showing your friendship with a collar for them and a bracelet for you. There are lots of options to choose from and would also make the perfect Christmas present! But always make sure when taking photos that your dog is having fun.

7) Get snug and enjoy

Now all you need to do is grab your favourite blanket, your dogs favourite blanket or dog bed and make a nest for you both on the sofa. Fill your coffee table with your snacks, dog treats and your hot drinks. Give them a quiet toy to entertain them for a while and stick on your favourite dog-friendly film. How about 101 Dalmatians, Hotel for Dogs or Lady and the Tramp?

What are your favourite things to do on a night in with your pup? Let us know! We’d love to see you and your dog doing some of these ideas so make sure to share your pictures with us over on our social media.
