Pancake Day Recipe for Dogs

When it comes to preparing delightful breakfast treats, pancakes are a timeless favourite that can be enjoyed throughout the year (not just on Pancake Day!) Whether it's a lazy weekend morning or a special occasion, this simple pancake recipaw is suitable for humans and doggos making it the ulti-mutt family treat!

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g oat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 300ml oat milk
  • Small amount of butter for frying

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place the oat flour in a bowl
  2. Add the oat milk (with no added flavouring or sweeteners) and whisk
  3. Add the eggs and whisk until you have a smooth batter
  4. Place a frying pan over medium heat and add approximately ½ tsp of butter to the pan
  5. Pour or ladle a portion of the batter into the pan. Allow the pancake to cook. Once the bottom is golden brown, flip it over and cook the other side
  6. Allow to cool, then serve and enjoy!

Any new food should be added gradually to your dog's diet so they don't get a poorly tummy. And make sure to always adjust your dog’s daily food allowance so they don’t gain weight while enjoying their delicious new snacks. Avoid giving your dog any foods that they are allergic or intolerant to, or if advised against by your vet.
