Some dogs just love to be busy all the time. If you don’t have time to take your dog for your usual long walks or play session (maybe you’re working from home, maybe you’re in the thick of a new book), our partners at Cuffe Vets have the answer.

Fill a Kong toy with dog friendly peanut butter, wet food or treats and give to your dog. They’ll spend ages entertaining themselves and licking up every last bit. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy some peace and quiet to take care of your to-do list until it’s time for their normal walk.

Any new food should be added gradually to your dog's diet so they don't get a poorly tummy. And make sure to always adjust your dog’s daily food allowance so they don’t gain weight while enjoying their delicious new snacks. Avoid giving your dog any foods that they are allergic or intolerant to, or if advised against by your vet.

BorrowMyDoggy connects dog owners with local borrowers for walks, sitting and holiday care.
