Why did you join BorrowMyDoggy?

So others could borrow my dog.

How has your BorrowMyDoggy experience changed your life? Or your dog's life, if you're an owner?

Amazing, it has helped me to arrange a catch up with friends so I donโ€™t have to worry about Teddy being left too long alone at home. Teddy has had so many lovely moments with borrowers on walks and especially at the beach where he can run free doing doggy Zooming and enjoying himself. After meeting Teddy and myself, borrowers are so keen to take him out. They absolutely fall in love with his wonderful nature. Teddy gets attached to them, and I've been told he walks alongside them off lead. After Teddy has been out for the day he comes back happy and he is more content ๐Ÿ˜Œ and tired for a couple of days. It is difficult for me to get out with Teddy much due to disabilities.

How have you (and/or your dog) benefited from being a BorrowMyDoggy member?

Borrowers exercise Teddy more than I can due to disability. Teddy enjoys getting out with other people. He enjoys and I know he is in safe hands.

What's been the biggest surprise for you in being part of our community?

Finding so many new dog people that love being around me and my dog Teddy.

Let us know if you have anything else you'd like to share about your experience!

I've met new friends, and that has been a bonus to me. Teddy had a lady borrower who had lost her dog. She now has a puppy, but she grew so attached to Teddy that she still remains in contact with us.

The first dog I 'liked' was a six-year-old Norfolk Terrier called Red. His owner Stephen got in touch to suggest a coffee.
