Why did you join BorrowMyDoggy?
We’d recently lost our dog but didn’t feel ready to have another of our own.
How has your BorrowMyDoggy experience changed your life?
After losing our own dog we didn’t feel ready to have another dog of our own but missed having a dog in the house. I found Borrow my Doggy and we joined as premium borrowers, within no time we’d had several owners contact us to ask if we were interested in meeting with them and their fur babies. The one message was from a lovely local lady who needed some help with her dog a couple of days a week. We met up with them and so our new adventure began. Mr ‘T’ now comes to us and stays over 3 days a week and we absolutely love having him. We always knew we wanted another dog of our own but we’ve taken our time deciding who we would be able to love next, and 5 days ago our little rescue dog Miss ‘P’ arrived. It’s early days yet and while little ‘P’ is full of mischief and wants to love ‘T’ he’s taking his time to decide what he really thinks of her, so he has his own space at our house where he can take himself off to when he’s had enough of her and we’re keeping her from there so there’s a boundary.
Without Borrow my Doggy I don’t know if and when we would’ve felt able to have our own dog again and now we get to love Mr ‘T’ and our little ‘P’ . I recommend this website to everyone.

How many people are out there with dogs who need help and who are willing to share their fur babies with borrowers
