Charlie and his borrower June

1 August 2022

“I signed up to BorrowMyDoggy because I’d lost my last Cocker Spaniel and I didn’t think I was in the position to have another dog of my own. I’ve now got Charlie as a little friend. For me, BorrowMyDoggy is having a dog part-time so I’ve got company, and it makes me go for longer walks than I would normally go for. Charlie’s owner, Marion, and I get on very well - we went to the ballet together and then out for lunch as part of Marion’s Birthday treat. I think I’m like an honorary granny to Marion really.” - Charlie’s borrower, June.

I have been looking after Timmy one day a week for over 4 years and absolutely adore him. His owner and I are also good friends.

After losing our own dog we didn’t feel ready to have another dog of our own but missed having a dog in the house. We soon met up with Mr. T.
