Why did you join BorrowMyDoggy?

I had depression and wanted to get active - I wanted to meet a dog to walk.

How has your BorrowMyDoggy experience changed your life?

I previously had a Labrador as teenager and I was heartbroken when he passed away. I felt unable to get another dog as he was the family’s everything. I suffer with quite bad depression and after some therapy. I decided I was missing a dog. I joined BorrowMyDoggy. I wanted to get a bit more active and meet a dog to walk. I met an owner called Kim and her 2 yr old Labrador. I have walked him multiple times now and I miss him when I’m not with him. It has transformed my life and I’m now hoping to get a rescue dog. Thank you!

How have you (and/or your dog) benefited from being a BorrowMyDoggy member?

It improves my mental health and helps me get active in the outdoors.

After Teddy has been out for the day he comes back happy and he is more content 😌 and tired for a couple of days.

The first dog I 'liked' was a six-year-old Norfolk Terrier called Red. His owner Stephen got in touch to suggest a coffee.
