BorrowMyDoggy is a finalist for the DigitalAgenda Impact Awards!

Have you heard the wagtastic news? BorrowMyDoggy has been announced as a finalist for the Sharing Economy category of the DigitalAgenda’s 2019 Impact Awards - showcasing the very best UK tech for good companies… High paws!

Our members are at the heart of everything we do so we want to say a massive thank you to our whole community, furry and human alike. Here at BorrowMyDoggy HQ we love spreading ‘Pawprints of Happiness’ but it couldn’t be done without our community joining us to help share the love of dogs.

There are a total of 36 finalists across 12 different categories and themes. Our category is the Sharing Economy where we and our fellow finalists are nominated for our work in “helping people and organisations share resources more easily, for a social or environmental benefit.”

The People’s Choice Award, an extra award open to the public, is now open for voting. It would really mean a lot if you could show your support of BorrowMyDoggy by voting today. The voting is very simple and we promise it shouldn’t take more than a minute or two to complete.

We help solve a unique problem

We understand that owners can’t be with their dogs 24/7 for a variety of reasons and also we know that hundreds of thousands of people, just like us, who don’t own a dog but desperately want to spend time with one.

We started BorrowMyDoggy to connect the two in a way that no other platform has managed to do - our community is based on sharing the love of dogs rather than on financial incentives.

Our aim is to do good… and it seems to work

We aim to leave ‘Pawprints of Happiness’ on the lives of dogs and people. Everyday our wagulous members share their positive experiences and stories BorrowMyDoggy has had on both their and their dogs’ lives.

Dogs make us happier and healthier

By spending time with a dog it has been found to improve depression, reduce loneliness, lower risks of cardiovascular disease and more.

Borrowing a dog has great health benefits for everyone involved - regular exercise, less pressure on owners and happy faces all round!

We’re serious about dogs

We’re all about the fun and happiness that dogs and communities can bring - no doubt about it, we’re a fun bunch who love dog spotting in the park (and let’s be honest, everywhere else we go.)

But we’re serious about safety and security and we’re very serious about helping our members however we can.

We’d want to reach more people and dogs to make the world a happier and healthier place. The team at BorrowMyDoggy HQ take sharing the love of dogs SERIOUSLY.

We’re so grateful for our dog-loving community. We started with a handful of people who spotted our first posters in Hampstead Heath over 5 years ago and now we have over 1 million members across the UK and Ireland - but there is still so much more we can do. Our members are at the heart of everything we do, so we thank you for your continued support and pawsome feedback, which brings happiness to our small team everyday.
