Dogs Monthly woof about BorrowMyDoggy

We were absowoofly thrilled when BorrowMyDoggy was woofed about in the April Issue of Dogs Monthly.

Dogs make us all so happy, and the article woofed about different ways for people to fill the dog-shaped hole in their lives. When BorrowMyDoggy connects dog owners to local dog lovers, “Dogs who would otherwise be home alone or in kennels while their owner was at work or on holiday could spend some quality time with a familiar, trusted person.”

Our founder, Rikke, shared the history behind BorrowMyDoggy, and how it all started when she was looking after a neighbours dog. Whilst walking Aston, a gorgeous chocolate labrador, Rikke wondered if there was a way for dog owners to have their pooches taken care of when they’re busy, by people who absolutely adore dogs, and miss having one of their own. This way the borrower gets happy doggy time and the pooch more fun and exercise.

Borrower, Rebecca, was used as a wagnificent example of a lovely story that has impacted the life of a doggy and a person. She met with Benj, the owner of Elvis, who lived across the street and needed a helping paw with his pooch. After getting to know each other, Rebecca borrowed Elvis for a week and adored having him. As she said, “everyone benefits.” High paws!

We’d like to say a big thanks to Dogs Monthly for the pawsome article, and helping us share the word about BorrowMyDoggy and our aim to leave ‘Pawprints of Happiness.’

Woofs and tail-wags,
