Scout, Toby and JD
Toby joined BorrowMyDoggy to ensure Scout, her tennis ball obsessed Springer Spaniel, would enjoy all the exercise he could ever want. They matched with borrower JD who now brings Scout along on his marathon training runs to make great use of his pawsome energy. As owner Toby says “Scout’s now getting so much socialisation and exercise. He’s not just a happy dog, but also a manageable dog in a way that he wasn’t before.”
Borrower JD, who doesn’t have the space or resources to have his own dog, believes that BorrowMyDoggy has been a wonderful way to connect to his community. He shares, “As opposed to a dog walker, I’ve really formed a bond with Scout and his family. It’s more of an intimate connection.”
