Ty Mawr Country Park

This is a great place to visit if you are walking a dog in Wrexham. Whether your pup loves a game of fetch, enjoys exploring woodland trails, or loves to swim, Ty Mawr Country Park has you covered. There are also some great views of the Dee valley and the chance to see lots of animals including llamas and pigs. Why not take a picnic and really make a day of it? Alyn Waters Country Park

Another great park to visit if you’re looking after someone’s dog in Wrexham is Alyn Waters Country Park. Acton Park

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

This world heritage site is over 250 years old and offers amazing views from the towpath. Popular with dog walkers, cyclists and families, this is a walk for the whole family, there is also lovely cafe at the end of the walk and a nice pub where you can grab something to eat after your walk.
