Haw Park Wood

A great place to walk a dog in Wakefield is Haw Park Wood. With a mixture of terrain, from hills to woodland, there is plenty for your pup to sniff and explore. Don’t forget to pack your wellies if it looks like it might rain, as some of the paths can become slippery.

Nostell Priory and Parkland

Enjoyable both in winter and summer, with plenty of shade beneath the trees on hotter days, this is a great place to explore due to the many trails and varied routes through the park.
