Plym Bridge Woods
If you’re dog sitting in Plymouth and happen to be walking a dog that loves to swim, then this is the walk for you. With a beautiful river flowing through the woods, this is a great place to explore on a hot day, with plenty of shade for you and your four-legged friend.
Saltram Boundary Walk
Saltram Boundary has wide paths that are great for dog walking. It also has a nice mix of parkland and woodland. This makes it a perfect place to visit if you walk dogs in Plymouth. With gorgeous views of the estuary and Blaxton saltmarsh, the woodland flowers are the best in Spring but you can visit at any time of year.
Buckland Abbey

If you’re looking for dog walks in Plymouth with great views, then you will enjoy Buckland Abbey. There are plenty of quiet places to stop and take in the view so why not take a picnic and make an afternoon of it!
Tamar Trails
Tamar Trails is a great place for a dog walk. With over 25km of woodland trails and plenty of open space to explore, it's a perfect spot for endless games of fetch. Make sure to stop by the Beech Cafe during your walk. They will happily give bowls of water for thirsty dogs and have dog treats for well-behaved pups.
