Best dog walks in Blackpool
Whether you’re a seasoned dog walker in Blackpool or are new to the area, there are plenty of great places to take a dog for a walk, we’ve listed a few of our faves below.
Brock Bottoms
Whether you’re a dog sitter in Blackpool or an owner wanting a new walk with your four legged friend, Brock Bottoms is a great choice. If your pup likes to swim there is plenty of places for your dog to take a dip in the water. If it’s a nice day why not pack a picnic and make an afternoon of it.
Pendle Hill
With plenty of open spaces for your pooch to run off any extra energy, this is a great walk for pups needing to be put through their paces. Enjoy the 360 views from the top and see if you can spot Blackpool Tower. With plenty of hills you might need to stop for a drink which luckily for you isn’t a problem as there are cafes and dog friendly pubs along the way.
Lee Quarry, Rossendale
With many varied routes, this walk can be a quick one or can be up to 3 hours depending on how adventurous you are feeling. There are plenty of places for your pup to swim as well as a range of trails from pathed routes to open spaces, perfect for those endless games of fetch.
Heron’s Reach Nature Trail
If you’ve been looking for dog walks in Blackpool that are fairly flat and enable your pup to play frisbee until their heart’s content, then this is the walk for you. This walk is around 5K in length and has a variety of terrain to keep your pup busy including a pond and plenty of off-lead open space.
