Barkarama about BorrowMyDoggy

BorrowMyDoggy was woofed about in a pawsome question and answer article by dog-loving blog Barkarama; “BorrowMyDoggy is a trusted community of dog lovers where borrowers (often dog-less) help take care of pooches when their owner is busy for walks, weekends or holidays. A win-win situ all round; the dog receives double the affection, the borrower gets their much needed doggy-fix and the owner has peace of mind that their hound is happy and cared for in their absence.”

The article went all the way back to the summer of 2012, when co-founder Rikke came up with the idea for BorrowMyDoggy whilst taking care of a neighbours dog for the day. Instead of spending the day alone, gorgeous chocolate lab Aston spent the day with Rikke going on plenty of walks and making new friends.

Taking the idea of BorrowMyDoggy to reality was also spoken about, with the aim to leave ‘Pawprints of Happiness’ on the lives of dogs and people. Rikke spoke about how “seeing the pawsitive impact that the members of the BorrowMyDoggy community are having on each other’s lives” was one of the most rewarding aspects of what she does - high paws!
