BorrowMyDoggy is an online platform dedicated to connecting dog owners with dog borrowers for walks, weekends or happy holidays. BorrowMyDoggy is passionate about helping dogs get more love and exercise, borrowers get special pup time and owners get the peace of mind that their dog is having fun.

Our goal as a company is pretty simple: we aim to make sure pups get the care, attention and exercise they deserve while connecting local people through the love of dogs.

Gunners Park to East Beach

Gunners Park is a lovely patch of greenery which leads onto the East Beach Promenade (note: your pup is only allowed on the beach from 1st October to the 30th of April). With picnic areas, lovely coastal paths to explore and refreshments available along the way this is a great place to walk a dog in Essex.

Garnetts Wood

Whether you’re borrowing a dog in Essex or are walking your own pup, Garnetts Wood is a great place to explore. With a mixture of open greenery, woodland and streams if your dog likes to swim, there is something to suit every pup.

Highwoods Country Park

If your dog is a sociable so and so, they’re likely to find a pawsome playmate at Highwoods Country Park. Popular with dog walkers, with lots of space to let your dog off the lead for those endless games of fetch. Located on the coast, enjoy the views and take in the sea views on a nice day or curl up by the fire if it’s a little on the chilly side.  

The Olde Dog, Brentwood

Aside from the great name, this place also has a great selection of beer and ales which changes frequently. Dogs are welcome in the bar area as well as the pub and have their very own area, lovingly named “the Dog House”, it can get busy but there are often seats available outside too.
