Crickley Hill Country Park
This country park is pawfect for both long, hilly walks to just a quick stretch. With lots of off-lead area, and on-lead areas your pup will certainly be happy exploring this National Trust site with you. Climb to the top of the hill to see the views of the Gloucestershire countryside.
Cotswold Water Park
A short drive out of Cheltenham city centre, this is worth the trip! With 40 square miles of land and over 150 lakes to explore, make a day of it and stop off at a country pub for a late lunch on your way home. They have their own beaches and specific areas for your dogs to swim, you won’t want to leave. Bring the kids along so they can get involved in the watersports in the North Lake whilst you explore the South Lake and Family Beach.
Robins Wood Hill
A large space of countryside just outside of Gloucester, this is a great place to go if you want to escape the city. If you are a dog walker in Cheltenham, walk to the beacon on the top of the hill to see the views across the Severn Bridge and the Malverns. It’s definitely worth the climb!
