Cotswold Water Park
A short drive out of Cheltenham city centre, this is worth the trip! With 40 square miles of land and over 150 lakes to explore, make a day of it and stop off at a country pub for a late lunch on your way home. They have their own beaches and specific areas for your dogs to swim, you won’t want to leave. Bring the kids along so they can get involved in the watersports in the North Lake whilst you explore the South Lake and Family Beach.
Robins Wood Hill
A large space of countryside just outside of Gloucester, this is a great place to go if you want to escape the city. If you are a dog walker in Cheltenham, walk to the beacon on the top of the hill to see the views across the Severn Bridge and the Malverns. It’s definitely worth the climb!

Well this pub is just like that, the staff love dogs and will provide ear ruffles to any four legged visitors. Water bowls and treats are also given to, so they don’t get jealous of your pint and roast dinner.
