If you’re looking for a great day out in Edinburgh and don’t want to leave your dog at home, then why not check out some of these dog friendly venues.

Blue Goose Country Pub

Where? 27 Lanark Road, Edinburgh, EH14 1TG

When? Sun-Mon 12pm until 12am

Why? The venue is a great size for dogs big and small. There’s loads of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice, or you can cozy up inside during the colder days.

Saiko Kitchen

When? Tues-Fri 12pm-3pm & 5pm-9pm, Sat 12pm-9pm, closed Sundays and Mondays

Why? Grab some take-away or eat-in at this yummy Pan Asian Street Food eatery. They’ll even provide your pup with a water bowl.

Henrick's Bar and Bistro

Cafe Tartine

Try some rustic French dining in an award winning restaurant: Cafe Tartine. This family run affair knows where it’s at - family and dog friendly, they serve all the great French classics (croque monsieur anyone?) as well as sweet and savoury crepes. It’s located north of the city centre on Commercial Street - just a moment from the sea, we recommend trying their fish dishes.

The Caley Sample Room

The Caley Sample Room is a unique place boasting a special dog menu containing snuffle dog beer and various other treats. Located only minutes from Harrison Park and the Union canal which is popular amongst dog walkers in Edinburgh. We recommend settling in for a Sunday roast or popping in for a swift one.
