Dog friendly places to eat in Belfast
The Dirty Onion
Based in one of Belfast’s oldest buildings, this pub is dog-friendly and even had a ‘Pooch Social’ back in March 2018! It’s part of the Belfast Traditional Music Trail and is well worth a stop off after a dog walk.
The Sunflower
This little corner pub offers a healthy variety of beer on tap, and is renowned for its craft beer. During the summer the beer garden is a perfect place to have a wood-fired pizza, a beer, and soak up the sun. Dogs are welcomed here with water bowls and treats - and can even feature on their website if you take a picture of your pooch in the pub!
The Lock Keepers Inn
If you are looking to walk a dog in Belfast and head for lunch afterwards - The Lock Keepers Inn is a fab choice. With easy access to some great walking routes, this pub is the ideal spot to refuel with lunch. You can even tour the old two-roomed lock keepers house next door. It’s reasonably priced, very popular and (of course) very dog-friendly.
