Chase relaxes on a sofa with cushions

Chase and his borrower Alison

19 March 2018

“We hit the Jackpot with our borrowed dog, Chase. My daughter and I both love dogs and going for long walks, but due to work, we can’t have one of our own. We messaged Chase’s owner, Vicki, a year ago, and have been walking him ever since. Vicki joined BorrowMyDoggy because Chase doesn’t like being left alone and dog walkers were becoming expensive. Now, we have him one to two days per week. We usually do a long walk first, followed by playtime and then a cuddle on the sofa.” - Chase’s borrower, Alison, from Berkshire.

I have been looking after Timmy one day a week for over 4 years and absolutely adore him. His owner and I are also good friends.

After losing our own dog we didn’t feel ready to have another dog of our own but missed having a dog in the house. We soon met up with Mr. T.

It’s made my life better knowing that I have trusted people to look after my fur baby whilst I’m away knowing he’s happy with them.
