Oakwell Hall and Country Park
Oakwell Hall and Country Park has something for everyone. It’s the perfect place for dog walks in Halifax with lots of hills if you are up for a challenge, or flat fields to just run around in and chase a ball, and forest area to cool off in out of the sun. There are refreshments available en route if you need to refuel and lots of water for a quick paddle.
Penistone Hill
Penistone Hill is great to walk a dog in Halifax off the lead. This country park is quite a hilly walk so if you want a tired pup this will do the trick.
