Whether you’re out and about with a borrowed dog, or are just looking for a new dog walk in Cornwall to enjoy with your pup there are plenty of great walks to choose from.

King Arthur and the Slate Coast

This is a great place to visit as a dog walker in Cornwall as there is plenty of room for your pup to really stretch his legs. Following an old donkey track, this walk takes you from the village of Treknow to the cove at Trebarwith Strand. This trail is dog friendly all year round so you are likely to bump into a few other doggy pals on your travels.

Padstow to Harlyn Bay

There are some great dog friendly beaches to explore on this walk if your pooch is partial to a paddle. During low tide there is plenty of sand for your dog to stretch his legs and enjoy. If you’re a little bit hungry on your walk there are plenty of dog friendly pubs to visit including The Old Custom Inn and the Old Ship Hotel.

Seaton Beach

If you are looking for somewhere with plenty of open space to walk a dog in Cornwall then Seaton Beach is a great option and welcomes pups all year round. The walk takes roughly an hour and a half and can be enjoyed whatever the weather. There is also a cafe where you can grab a hot drink or something to eat after your walk.

Cardinham Woods

Filled with a variety of woodland trails - there is lots here to keep an energetic pup entertained. Follow the river where your dog can have a cool down or a drink and take in the beautiful scenery. Most routes are flat so this is a good walk for a Sunday afternoon, don’t forget to stop off at the dog friendly cafe near the car park for a well earnt coffee and slice of cake. All in all a great place to visit if you are dog sitting in Cornwall.

Newbridge River

We couldn’t talk about dog walks in Cornwall without giving a special mention to Newbridge River. A beautiful riverside walk with plenty of routes of varying length, paths are tree lined making it a safe place to let your pup off the lead. This is a great place to spend an afternoon and makes the perfect place for a picnic alongside your four legged friend.
