The Peak District can be found close to both Nottingham and Liverpool, and it is one of the most beautiful places that the UK has to offer – not just for nature, but also the gorgeous walks that are hidden away within it. For those who like to challenge themselves with a hike, there is the Flash and Dane Valley to really give you a workout. For those with wheelchairs and pushchairs, the Yorkshire Bridge Circular offers a long, yet accessible, stroll for everyone.

There are also a number of routes that allow dogs to come along, so you can enjoy each other’s company and the glory of nature. However, make sure that you follow any posted signs with rules for walking dogs. For those that love to stop off and have a pint, there are plenty of routes that have at least one pub on them, especially the trek between Shatton and Hathersage, so you can fill your belly and enjoy a refreshing ale at your leisure before you go on.
