Don't miss out on Dog Fest

Have you got your summer plans sorted? Why not take a weekend to celebrate your canine pal at the UK’s Ultimate Summer Festival for Dogs: DogFest!

Join special guests, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and Clare Balding (and us!) at Ashton Court, Bristol on the 22nd or 23rd June!

Here’s our top five reasons why DogFest is THE event to have in your dog’s social calendar this year:

Chances For You and Your Pooch to Take Part

From hurtling over the Hay Bale Race to dashing into the Dog Diving pool, there are so many activities for your pooch to throw themselves in to! You can test their resolve on the Temptation Alley and see if they can resist the enticing treats on offer or find out whether they’re a dab paw on the Agility Course. There’s something for every pooch to get involved in!

Meet New Friends

DogFest is the pawfect opportunity for your pup to meet some new pals! See if you can meet some distant dog cousins at the Breed Meet-Ups, where we’ll be inviting breeds to come together for a quick chin-wag – comparing notes on everything from breed behaviours to food habits! There will also be an expert on hand for you to ask any questions you might have on caring for your furry friend!

Great Dog Walk

There’s one word that every dog loves to hear and that’s ‘WALKIES’! At DogFest, we’re shouting it across the fields during the fabulous Great Dog Walk, where you’ll be able to roam the enchanting grounds of the three stately venues. Best of all, you’ll be able to raise money for some very deserving charities with a little help from a few celebrity faces.

See Some Famous Faces

Speaking of celebrities, DogFest is excited to welcome Clare Balding to the show for the first time this year! She will be joining Professor Noel Fitzpatrick to help lead the Great Dog Walk, as well as doing an insightful session on the Main Stage to talk about her experience growing up with animals. As well as kick-starting the Great Dog Walk, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick will be taking some time to speak to the younger visitors in the specially formulated Junior Reporter session, as well as exclusively speaking in the VIP Lounge on some behind-the-scenes titbits from his busy year on tour!

It's not just about the humans though! Some amazing Dogs of Instagram will be at the Hound Hangout for some meet & greets with their doggy fans – so you can learn from the experts all about how to shoot your own dog to internet stardom!
