Take the Lead - Borrower Callum and Jäger

We don’t think we’ve ever seen a pooch who loves sticks as much as the star of our latest #TakeTheLead, Jäger! Sit back, put your paws up and enjoy seeing how much fun Callum and his fiancée have with Jäger, a Husky x Collie.

11:11am - First stop of the day is Coombe Abbey Country Park in Coventry for a massive run around and to meet some other dogs! We’ve been borrowing Jäger for a few months and this is the second time taking him here. Seems to be his favourite place to go!

12:16pm - Immediately locate stick, proceed to jump around like a lunatic.

1:32pm - Jäger stops jumping for just a few minutes as he can smell a treat. Eating is probably his second favourite activity….he always makes time for me to feed him treats…

2:24pm - Another part of Coombe Abbey is the acres of woods and farmland surrounding the Abbey. Jäger is always determined to find something interesting to do or another dog to play with somewhere in the woods…

3:29pm - I have said it before, but Jäger LOVES jumping for sticks. It’s just his favourite thing to do when we take him for walkies.

4:45pm - YES!! Found a fort. This is Jäger and my fiancee @xluiginax claiming ownership of the second hand fort that we found.

5:07pm - Cream crackered after a nice long walk around the woods and the open fields! Time for a little lie down on the way to the in-laws! We are convinced that Jäger is about 90% tail.

6:05pm - Chilling out at a friends' parents house for a little while. Cup of tea (for Gina) and a lie down in front of the fire (for everyone), awesome!

6:34pm - Literally the only way to end the day: belly rubs. Thanks for spending the day with us, it’s been lots of fun!
